About the Unauthorized Practice Committee
This extremely important committee addresses the unauthorized practice of law by various non-lawyers, including individuals and organizations. It monitors legislation proposed by certain interest groups, which would permit those groups to practice and/or engage in business in an area, which historically has been the province of the legal profession.
