1 Substantive Credit .5 Ethics

Last year, Montgomery County (thanks to Judge Clifford) was approved for a county-funded program to appoint Guardian ad Litems in complex custody cases involving low- or no-income families. Thank you to everyone who attended last year’s training and have served in these cases.

We are offering a 2nd CLE on the essentials of serving as a Guardian ad Litem on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 9am to 10:30am. Attendees will received 1.0 substantive CLE credits and 0.5 ethics credits.

Please note that this training will be necessary to serve as a GAL in the Montgomery County funded program; however, it will also be helpful and informative to anyone who wishes to take GAL appointments including in cases outside of the County funded program. Attendance is not limited to attorneys who wish to participate in the County funded program and is not limited to Montgomery County Bar members.
