Summary

Speaker: Jeffrey S. Frankenburger, Deputy Executive Director of State Ethics Commission

As lawyers, we do our best to counsel clients to avoid running afoul of the law. Notwithstanding our best efforts, and administrative safeguards intended to help prevent Ethics Act Violations (such as requirements relating to financial disclosure, supplementary employment approval, and gift bans), the lure of financial gain sometimes gets the better of them.  In this panel presentation, learn what the Ethics Commission is and what they do, review some of the Ethics Act provisions that are most frequently, and discover available tools to help your clients stay on the right side of the Ethics Act.
