Bio:
She was born and bred a shy McKeesport, Pennsylvania girl of Greek, Indian, and Syrian ethnicity. Upon high school graduation, Anita moved east to Philadelphia to attend Temple University and Widener School of Law (now, Delaware Law School). Anita clerked for a homicide judge while in law school. In 2009, Anita began her legal career as a Montgomery County assistant public defender. In 2013, Anita ventured out into the world of private practice as a solo practitioner. Later, Anita partnered with friend and mentor, Sharon R. Meisler, to form AMS Law, P.C.
AMS Law P.C. is a client-focused firm practicing predominantly in the areas of family and criminal law. As a public defender, Anita presented a CLE on sexual assault investigations. Since 2017, Anita has been an instructor for Delaware Law School's Intensive Trial Advocacy Program (ITAP), the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA). Anita is known for having a tough love approach to her clients, and a bulldog tenacity toward her cases.
