Mr. Ryder handles the full scope of intellectual property matters including client counseling, preparation and prosecution of patent and ntrademark applications, preparation of copyright registration napplications, patent and trademark searches, legal opinions including npatentability, trademarkability, infringement, and clearance opinions, nlicensing agreements, and procurement of intellectual property rights.

Mr. Ryder is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark nOffice (USPTO). Mr. Ryder has extensive experience preparing and nprosecuting patent applications for a wide variety of clients, nindustries and technologies.

Mr. Ryder's patent prosecution practice covers a vast array of technical n fields including electrical, mechanical, computer, software, business nmethod, Internet, video, telecommunications and semiconductors. Mr. nRyder also has extensive experience preparing and prosecuting trademark napplications for a wide variety of clients and industries.

Prior to beginning his legal career, Mr. Ryder spent ten years utilizing n his electrical engineering technical background in a variety of nengineering and management positions. Mr. Ryder was a program manager nfor a company that designed, developed and deployed several systems ncontrolling oceanic air traffic control.

Mr. Ryder spent time as both a system engineer and design engineer nworking on various air traffic control, missile, and computer systems.
