Bio:
Donna Marcus is an Associate in the Norristown office of Weber Gallagher. Ms. Marcus concentrates her practice on family law including divorce, child support and custody matters. Her practice focuses on representing clients in high net worth and complex family law issues in the five-county area. Ms. Marcus is also a Certified Child Advocate representing children who are victims of abuse. Prior to working at Weber Gallagher, Ms. Marcus was as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia for 14 years. During her tenure as an Assistant District Attorney, Ms. Marcus worked in various Units including the Child Support Enforcement Unit. As an Attorney in the Child Support Enforcement Unit, Ms. Marcus represented plaintiffs and the Department of Public Assistance in actions including interstate, paternity and contempt hearings. During her time in this Unit, Ms. Marcus successfully handled a paternity appeal which she argued before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. n nMs. Marcus was also assigned to the Narcotics Division where she litigated the forfeiture of narcotics properties through quasi-civil forfeiture hearings under the Pennsylvania Drug Forfeiture Act. Ms. Marcus was later promoted to the Drug Treatment Court Unit where she represented the Commonwealth in the assessment, monitoring, and evaluation of drug offenders in the city of Philadelphia. n nDonna M. Marcus graduated in 2002 from Temple University School of Law and is currently licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She graduated from the University of Delaware as an undergraduate with Bachelor of Arts Degrees in both Political Science and Criminal Justice. She is a member of the Montgomery Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Ms. Marcus is an active member of the Family Law Sections of both the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Montgomery Bar Association, and is a member of the Women in the Law and Bench Bar Committees of the Montgomery Bar Association. Ms. Marcus is also a member of the Doris Jonas Freed American Inn of Court and the Main Line Chamber of Commerce. n
