Title: Attorney

Bio:

Prior to becoming a lawyer I had several careers. I have a PhD and was a Mathematics Professor at Kent State University (and later taught Statistics at Saint Josephs University).  I am an actuary (Fellow of the CAS) and was Chief Actuary of 2 large US insurers. I also was CFO of a multi-billion dollar corporation, and was the CEO, President and Chairman of several different insurance and investment corporations in the US and abroad. I retired early and returned to the US after over 6 years of running companies in Japan and Taiwan. After I failed at retirement, I obtained a law degree from Villanova Law School and opened my solo law practice in 2011.

My law practice is limited to civil law and tax law. I am licensed in PA and also admitted to practice before the US Federal Tax Court and the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. I represent only individuals (not businesses or organizations). My firm's mission is to get justice for my clients. I often take meritorious cases that other firms have turned down because they are too small to be financially worthwhile.

My main areas of practice are employment law, wills & estates, Federal tax law (including innocent spouse cases), and seeking compensation for clients treated unfairly by businesses or organizations. Clients seek me out because of my negotiating skills, integrity, personal attention, extensive business experience and track record. I practice primarily in Delaware County, Montgomery County, Chester County and Philadelphia. My office is on Lancaster Avenue in Haverford.

Two Interesting facts about me: 1) I have traveled extensively including living abroad and visiting all 7 continents and over 100 countries. 2) I was a Professor at Kent State University in 1970 and was on campus when the National Guard fired into a student demonstration, killing and wounding peaceful demonstrators..
