Peter Pinnola brings over 25 years of experience to the practice of disability law. He has an impressive record of success at all levels of appeal including Administrative Law Judge hearings, the Social Security Appeals Council and in Federal Court. nAt the federal court level of appeal, Mr. Pinnola has won a number of important cases including Boone v. Commissioner which resulted in an award of over four years of retroactive benefits for the claimant who did not fit into the usually recognized categories of physical limitation. Significantly, the Court emphasized that principles of fairness must be applied when Social Security Regulations are not clear. nDisability appeals require extensive preparation. This process includes thorough documentation of the claimant's medical history and, when necessary, evaluation by medical or psychological experts. Mr. Pinnola advances these costs pending a determination of disability.
