Obadiah G. English is the current Chair of the Probate & Tax Section of the Montgomery County Bar Association. Mr. English is a partner with Mannion Prior LLP. Mr. English's practice is concentrated in litigation involving trusts, estates, guardianships and other fiduciary matters. Mr. English also counsels clients on matters related to commercial and general civil litigation. He has represented both individual and corporate clients in a variety of matters in the Orphans' Court and Civil Division of the Pennsylvania Courts of Common Pleas and Superior Court. nMr. English came to Mannion Prior from a large Philadelphia law firm where he defended companies and individuals in complex civil litigation and criminal investigations alleging catastrophic injury and death, antitrust and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations, healthcare fraud, securities fraud, and various other business frauds. In addition, he prosecuted major commercial litigation claims in both state and federal courts. Mr. English previously served as an arbitrator in the Compulsory Arbitration Program for the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. nMr. English received his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wake Forest University. Mr. English is admitted to practice in the federal and state courts of Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Bucks County and Montgomery bar associations. Mr. English is former chair of the Orphans' Court Section of the Bucks County Bar Association. Mr. English was also the the Vice-Chair of the Montgomery Bar Association Rules of Orphans' Court Committee in 2013.
