Bio:
Mr. Mazzeo practices in the areas of intellectual property litigation, patents, trademarks and copyrights. He has litigated all types of intellectual property cases, including complex patent infringement cases involving multiple patents and trademark and copyright infringement cases, as well as complex business disputes.
Mr. Mazzeo also has filed and/or maintained over 500 trademark registrations in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and in foreign trademark offices. He also is very experienced with patent applications and drafting licensing agreements.
Mr. Mazzeo has been awarded the distinction of being a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for Intellectual Property continuously for many years.
Mr. Mazzeo is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Montgomery Bar Association, on which he serves on the Executive Committee. He is
a former chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Intellectual Property Section. Mr. Mazzeo also founded and is a past chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the Bucks County Bar Association.
He is a sought after presenter for seminars for attorneys on the subjects of patents, trademarks and copyrights, and has spoken to the general public about intellectual property on a radio show. Mr. Mazzeo also is a past instructor for the Licensing Executives Society.
Prior to co-founding Ryder, Mazzeo and Konieczny, LLC, Mr. Mazzeo practiced in a Philadelphia patent boutique law firm.
Mr. Mazzeo is a graduate of Ursinus College and Widener University School of Law, where he was on the law review. He also has an M.B.A. from Lehigh University. Mr. Mazzeo is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Mazzeo resides in Montgomery County with his wife, Tricia, and their four children. He has been a head coach in multiple youth sports for the past 17 years.
