A founding partner of Bedford and Schireson, Henry J. Schireson has practiced since 1980 focusing on estate planning and administration, family and elder law.
Since 1984 he has served as Magisterial District Judge of Lower Merion Township, and for for many years he represented Pennsylvania's 550 Magisterial District Judges on the Supreme Court Judicial Council. He was co-author of the Strategic Plan for Pennsylvania's Judiciary 2008-2013.
He served as an Assistant District Attorney of Montgomery County where he was chief of a major trials unit, and Assistant Generral Counsel of ARAMARK.
Former President of The Special Court Judges Association of Montgomery County; former member, PA Supreme Court Minor Court Rules Committee; and Vice Chair of the Minor Judiciary Education Board.
Forner Chair, Montgomery Bar Association Courthouse Committee. In 2011 the MBA Judiciary Committee rated him “Highly Qualified” for the Common Pleas bench.
Honors graduate of Penn State University and James E. Beasley School of Law of Temple University; married to Therese Noone Schireson for 46 years, three children, resides in Bryn Mawr.
