After graduating from St. Joseph's University and Villanova Law
School, Mike Furey clerked for the Honorable William W. Vogel in the Montgomery nCounty Court of Common Pleas.  He then served as Assistant District nAttorney in Montgomery County.  Mike has been in private practice since n1986, and regularly practices in the areas of real estate, zoning, land development, wills and nestates, transactional and business law, and litigates civil matters in the nCourts of Common Pleas.  He also handles DUI, traffic and juvenile cases, nexpungements, and license suspension appeals.  Mike has represented nclients in appeals to the Pennsylvania Superior Court, nand has briefed and argued a number of zoning cases before nthe Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. He also litigates construction law ncases before the American Arbitration Association.

Mike has served as solicitor and special counsel to various nmunicipal boards in Montgomery County, and has been appointed as counsel to a nBuilding Code Board of Appeals.  He currently serves as Solicitor to the nWest Norriton Township Zoning Hearing Board, as he has for over 25 years.  nHe also serves as Solicitor to the Whitemarsh Township Zoning Hearing Board, an nappointment he has held since 2005.  Mike was recently appointed as nSolicitor to the Worcester Township Zoning Hearing Board.
