I am a lifelong Montgomery County resident and a proud graduate of Norristown Area High School. Following high school, I earned a B.A. in psychology from Ithaca College.  For several years thereafter, I applied my degree to the animal behavior field working with primates, specifically chimpanzees.  I had the opportunity to work in Africa with chimpanzees orphaned by the illegal bushmeat trade. I also had the privilege to work with chimpanzees who were used for decades in biomedical research and finally retired to a sanctuary system.  My passion for conservation and preservation is what inspired me to go to law school.  

Throughout law school this passion grew and developed into an enthusiasm for public interest law.  Since earning a J.D. from Vermont Law School in 2010, I have committed myself to championing the rights of indigent criminal defendants. It is in this role that I take great pride in upholding the Constitution and demanding justice for the most marginalized citizens in our community.
