James J. Garrity, Esq. (June 12, 1952 - July 8, 2025)
We are saddened to learn of the passing of longtime member James Garrity.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary; his mother Mary; his four siblings, Brian (Molly), Mimi (Ric), Patti, and Ted (Sue); his children, Ian, Moira (Brett), and Kara (Paul); and his five grandchildren, Saxon, Deirdre, Owen, Ronan, and Emmet.
Jim was a proud family man and supported his immediate, and extended, family for the majority of his life, setting aside his own needs for those of his family. He did this without exception and with unconditional love.
Born and raised on the outskirts of Philadelphia, Jim proudly attended LaSalle College High School (‘70), Georgetown University (‘74), and Villanova University School of Law (‘77), where he served as an editor of the Law Review.
He was a deeply respected attorney at Wisler Pearlstine, LLP, where he dedicated his 47-year career to serving clients and mentoring colleagues with unwavering professionalism and care. He was instrumental in establishing the charitable fund, WisPearl Cares, an initiative near and dear to his heart. Jim was named to Pennsylvania Super Lawyers for Land Use & Zoning for the past two decades.
